This trouser pattern is designed to be simple enough for a beginner. It's a simple trouser with an elasticated waist which has a ruffle detail above the waistband. It also has 2 waist ties that tie together at the front to add a simple, yet stylish detail. There are 2 side pockets which are hidden inside the trouser to give a smoother side silhouette.
Recommended Fabrics:
The trousers can be made in most fabrics but they will work well in fabrics that have a nice drape such as a crepe or a viscose. They also look lovely in linen.

This pattern is a digital pdf pattern: after purchase, a digital file is sent to you which you then download and print, allowing you to start sewing straight away.
The pattern is available in A4 & US letter size to print. There is also an A0 size which can be sent to a copy shop who will print it off for you and post it to you.

The pattern is available in sizes 6-14 and 16-24. You will receive all sizes when you purchase this pattern.

Rachael - I found the pattern so easy to follow! There is a follow along video as well which was amazing to refer to. Lisa has made a brilliant pattern which can be adapted to shorts and made in different fabrics for different looks. I love these trousers they are so comfy.
Helene - It's a great pattern for beginners and for anyone who wants to develop their trouser fitting skills. The order of construction and finishing allow for easy adjustments along the way. I will definitely be making more of these.
